You will find lots to see and do in our area of Michigan We boast more than 11,000 inland lakes here in the heart of the Great Lakes region. Our home is located 50 miles northwest of Detroit. Interesting places to see include the Detroit Institute of Arts, Henry Ford Museum, Greenfield Village, the Fox Theater and Cranbrook. There are many fine restaurants to enjoy, from the upscale Lark in West Bloomfield, the Excaliber or Golden Mushroom, to the eclectic Greektown restaurants in Detroit.We are within easy driving distance to the Detroit Tigers, Lions, Red Wings and Pistons. If you are a car buff, the International Car Show at Cobo Hall or the Concours d' Elegance at Meadowbrook (second most prestigious car show in the U.S.) could be your cup of tea. A Fall color cruise in the beautiful "north woods" is also a big favorite. Golfers enjoy many beautiful and challenging golf courses here in Michigan.
We can provide a comfortable room with double bed and private bath in our three bedroom brick ranch style home situated high on a hill with a great view. Imagine yourself soaking in a relaxing hot tub, gazing up at the stars after a day of sight seeing or maybe sipping a glass of wine in front of a cozy fireplace? - you've got the picture!
We are flexible and enjoy meeting new people and seeing interesting places. We are open to suggestions, although we would prefer a hosting arrangement. If interested, we could be the tour guide and chauffeur. We are interested in traveling almost anywhere - and are always looking for new adventures! We can be ready on a moment's notice and will consider all offers.
