Woerden (once a fortress at the northern frontier of the Roman Empire) is situated in the so-called "Green Heart of Holland" and has a medieval centre with ancient town hall and church. Rural area with great opportunities for walking, cycling and boating. Farms make local cheese and there is a cheese market every Wednesday (very) early in the morning.

The house is situated in a newly developed area at a 5 minutes’ drive from the centre and the motorway. The railway station is at walking distance, only 10 minutes. Direct trains to Utrecht run 4 times an hour, to Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague twice an hour. The house has a small front garden and a private patio at the back. Ground floor: hall, toilet, living-room with dining area and computer centre, separate fully equipped kitchen(cooking range with oven, dish-washer, refrigerator/freezer, microwave), store room with washing machine. First floor: One bedroom with double bed, one bedroom with convertible double bed, bathroom with bath, separate shower and toilet, dressing room. Cable TV, VCR, DVD-player, hi-fi stereo set with collection of classical and popular music, computer with broadband Internet access.

Small car and two bicycles available.
