Our home is on beautiful Waiheke Island, 35 minutes by fast ferry to downtown Auckland. Ferries run hourly. Waiheke is home to 33 vineyards, olive groves, fabulous sandy beaches and unpolluted, clear seas. The island has a golf course, walking and cycling tracks, kayak hire, fishing charters, horse riding, dirt track, cinema, supermarket and many small retail shops. There are also many excellent cafes and restaurants, some holding awards for fine dining. Our house has 4 bedrooms, two lounges, modern kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, etc. and decks all around for outdoor eating/living. (with large BBQ) We have a view of the sea with only a 2 minute walk to a great swimming beach and 10 minute walk to the local village.

We keep a small (2009) car on the island which may be taken to Auckland on the car ferry.

We're looking for an exchange of house and car for 3-4 weeks in Ireland during your Spring or Autumn, 2013. We're careful homeowners and will keep your house as if it were our own. Please contact us as soon as possible so that early travel arrangements may be made.
