My home - a 1750 sq ft 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom bungalow - has a great room, sunken living room, A/C, gas fireplace, 4 TVs including a home theatre system for watching HD TV or DVDs on a 92" screen. Read or watch TV while relaxing in a deluxe massage chair. House includes wireless internet access. We have lots of photos available on request.

My backyard is separated from adjacent homes by a waterstream, including a waterfall joining 2 large ponds, each with lily pads. In summer, baby ducks and quail 'portage' from the lower pond across the lawn to the upper pond. The grounds are professionally maintained. On the patio are a BBQ, 4 padded swivel patio chairs, and table and chairs for outdoor eating/entertaining. Enjoy an outdoor BBQ or just relax watching the stars. No bugs or high humidity issues. It's dry here.

We live in West Kelowna (also referred to as Westbank), population 40,000, centrally located in the beautiful Okanagan region, and immediately adjacent to our neighboring community of Kelowna (population 120,000) across a large (Okanagan Lake - 90 miles long) lake. With our temperate climate - mild winters and summer days averaging 80F - we are known as one of Canada's most desirable resort/retirement areas. Within a short drive are 3 major ski hills, many golf courses, and >140 wineries. Major wine festivals are held in the Spring(early May) and Fall (early October). Vancouver is a 4 hour drive to the west; Banff and the Rocky Mountains are 5-6 hours to the east.

Because we each own a home in the complex, exchanges need not be simultaneous. Come in the summertime, or whatever time of year suits your needs. We prefer to travel in the spring, fall and winter. We are very clean and responsible homeowners and will treat your home as we do our own.

We are looking for a 3-6 week exchange (simultaneous or nonsimultaneous). Places we especially want to doexchanges with include: Newfoundland, Florida, Southern California, Arizona, Hawaii, New England States, Las Vegas, Ireland, United Kingdom. We would like to visit a warm weather area for a 3-4 week period during November- December 2013.

For shorter exchanges anytime (~1 week or less), we especially enjoy visiting seaside communities along the British Columbia, Washington and Oregon Coasts.

Generally, we prefer smaller rural towns over the hustle and bustle of big cities, but we are open to all possibilities.
