We are a happily married couple with a grown up family. Stephen is semi retired and runs a small business from our home in Auckland. Gail is involved in the art world and works in a dealer art gallery in Auckland City. Now that our family are living independently away from home, we are keen to continue our travels and are interested in exploring the world. We are both interested in the arts and Stephen loves tennis - he is determined to attend all four Grand Slam tournaments in the next few years. And 2012 is the year we have booked to go to the French Tennis Open, so we are now looking for an exchange for the week 27th May to the 3rd June.

This is our holiday cottage on Waiheke Island. We call it Livingstone Cottage. It is 35 minutes passenger ferry ride from Auckland or 45 minutes by car ferry. It has been recently renovated and has a wonderful large sunny deck with great sea views. You can walk to the local village for daily paper and choice of cafes in 20 minutes. The beach is only a 10 minute walk from the house. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. There is no town supply water on the island, so all our household water is collected in a rain water tank.

It is available all year so we can offer non-simultaneous exchanges. And if you need to stay in Auckland short term, we would be happy to host for two to three nights.
