We live in the Northern Limousin, close to Limoges(80mls) Orlean(70mls) Tour(70mls) and Lyon(120mls). Central Paris is 3hrs away by train. The Loire valley with its famous chateaux’s is only an 90 mins to the north of us and Burgundy a similar distance to the east. Our area is an ideal location for touring the vineyards of France, all are within easy reach.

In the immediate vicinity we have a championship 18 hole golf course (15mls), also very good lakes with water sports facilities such as swimming, sailing, waterskiing, cycling and bird watching in the world famous Brenne bird reserve.

Our home is a 3 bedroom detached house in a tranquil hamlet location surrounded by farmland of grazing terracotta coloured Limousin cows. The house has a dining room, living room, kitchen, jacussi bathroom, and 2 wc’s there is also a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. We have a wood burning stove and full electric central heating. Limoges has an International airport that provides flights to the UK (Ryan Air and Flyb)and the south of France as well as Paris(Air France). We would be happy to car exchange our family Toyota Avensis as part of any arrangement.

We are an early retired couple with no pets and are happy to consider any country and any time but longer exchanges preferred.
