Our 2-story home is seven years old and has all the amenities, including wireless hookup. There are 3 bedrooms, one used as an office, and 2-1/2 baths. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, and the second bedroom has a queen-sized bed. We are in a small, gated community and our back yard gate opens to a lovely green belt. We feel privileged to be able to start the day with an early morning walk on the beach, or to enjoy an evening stroll and toast the beautiful sunsets.

We are walking distance to a market, drug store, restaurants and service shops, and a short drive to a multitude of shopping and sightseeing opportunities. Several small, charming beach towns are within close proximity. The La Costa golf resort and numerous other golf venues are nearby.

There is an inexpensive commuter train that runs into the City of San Diego, and the station is 1/2 block away. San Diego's many attractions include a lovely port where scenic cruises are available, Mexican-flavored Old Town, the historic Gaslamp District, and Sea World. Beautiful Balboa Park, a National Historic Landmark, is a cultural complex that features museums, theatres, gardens, shops and restaurants, and the San Diego Zoo. For a taste of Mexico, the border city of Tijuana is a half-hour drive south of San Diego.

Additional nearby sites of interest include the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institute of Oceanography in La Jolla, the San Diego Wild Animal Park, and the Temecula Valley Wineries. Disneyland is a 90-minute drive north, and Los Angeles (and Hollywood) is 2 hours away.

Dennis is retired from a management position, and Joyce is semi-retired from the real estate field. We've traveled abroad over the years, but this will be our first exchange. We take a great deal of pride in our home, and will treat yours with the same respect and care that you will give ours. A vehicle exchange is possible. We cannot accommodate smokers or pets.
