The island is beautiful, with clear skies and warm, clean, waters. The deep-sea fishing in the area is excellent and there are many charter boats for rent by the day. The gulf is normally very calm with low or no waves on the beach. Small sailboats are for rent on the beach and power boats at the island marinas. The island has golf courses nearby on the mainland. There are many excellent restaurants everywhere.

The building is directly on the beach. The master bedroom and the living room share a balcony overlooking the beach and Gulf of Mexico. The sunsets are spectacular! There is a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher; a washing machine and dryer. One bathroom has a stall shower, the other has a bathtub with shower. In addition to the beach, the building has a swimming pool and an outdoor jacuzzi hot tub. There are two well-maintained tennis courts. There is free internet in the apartment.
