| | Our 8 year old home is 4klm out of Nambour, the main hinterland town of the Sunshine Coast, within half an hours drive of beautiful surf beaches to the east, and west to farm land, forestry, ranges. Brisbane is 1 hours drive to the south.
The design of the house is open-plan, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the main level, and on the lower level is a separate living area in which our 30 year old son lives. As in our last exchange, he will act as caretaker of our garden and pool and care for our dog (a well-behaved border collie). Dishwasher, microwave in kitchen, plus dryer in laundry. All floors tiled (apart from 2 bedrooms which are carpeted). Large balcony with stunning views over farmland and town to north, and in the foreground, a swimming pool.There's 2 acres of garden surrounding house and pool, with an abundance of tropical birds, many of which come to the balcony to feed.
We're nonsmokers, keen outdoors people, with a desire to enjoy the same in other parts of the world. Our vehicle is included in the exchange. It is a late model Ford Explorer. There's also a Jayco Campavan which will make accommodation quite cheap. In 2003 we would like to visit the United Kingdom for 4-6 weeks in either May/June or Aug/Sept.
