	I have been offered a teaching position in Lincoln, UK and will be taking this up in late August, 2003, for a period of approximately 11 months. We are interested in either house sitting or even having the use of a room in which to stay and are hoping to travel at weekends and during the school holidays to see as much of the UK and Europe as we can. My husband and I live on a small farm in the hinterland behind Byron Bay on the far north coast of NSW. The surrounding area has much to offer and caters for most interests, both sporting and cultural. The small historic village of Bangalow is only a few minutes from our home and is a popular eating spot for all who visit the area. There are many beautiful surfing beaches and coastal villages close by and plenty of fishing spots for the recreational fisher. The climate is mild all year around and there are beautiful rain forest and rural areas to enjoy. The larger towns of Ballina and Byron Bay are only a 10 to 15 minute drive away. Our home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and an open living area with beautiful rural views. There are 2 cars if needed - one a 4-wheel drive. The Gold Coast is only an hour away, Brisbane 2 hours. This is a really beautiful part of Australia.
