	We have an extremely comfortable, generous country house (with excellent facilities for people with a disability) plus large swimming pool on a small acreage surrounded by several world heritage rainforests at Lillian Rock, on the Far North Coast of NSW, Australia. Wallabies feed on the lawn at dawn and dusk, colourful lorrikeets nest in the trees, you'll often see an echidna rambling across the grass. It is a country paradise with helpful friendly neighbours. We are a one hour drive from the vibrant Gold Coast, Queensland,(helpful relatives there too!) with its famous beach culture, cosmopolitan cafes/restaurants and awesome theme parks and just 10 minutes from Nimbin, the heart of alternative culture - new age health, healing and spirituality abounds in this fascinating "Aquarian age" village. A short drive in any direction takes you into wild virgin rainforests - Mt Warning National Park with its majestic volcanic caldera, the Border Ranges National Park with its ancient Antarctic Beech forest, the magnificent Nightcap Range, and the sacred Nimbin Rocks, seat of wisdom and power for our indigenous elders. It is a wonderful area. Byron Bay with its famous lighthouse, whales, dolphins and white sand beaches is just an hour away and Brisbane, capital of Queensland, just two hours drive away. We have a four-wheel drive we are happy to exchange so you can explore some of these wonderful sights if we can use your car. We also have a small 2-bedroom town house in the thriving rural University town of Lismore, about 40 minutes drive away. It's very cute and handy if you want to explore the local beaches of Evans head and Ballina, go to the movies, visit the art galleries, museums, coffee shops and large supermarkets. You could have access to both houses. We are a professional family with two older teenagers 17 and 19. We also have an extremely friendly Spotted Mist cat who may or may not come with the house, depending on what arrangements are suitable. We want to spend a month in Europe in July 2003, and would like a house in/near Paris for a week, but will consider other European cities - especially Copenhagen and/or London. The weather in Australia at this time of year, in our region, is typically lovely warm sunny days and cooler nights when you might appreciate the log or gas fire. International flights fly in to Brisbane and the Gold Coast, you can get a connecting regional flight to Lismore and pick up the car from our town house there. You'll love it here!
