	In the heart of Australia's premier holiday destination the "Gold Coast" we are 150 metres to the world's best beaches. 7 min. to Casino, 30 mins. to all the major theme parks and 40 min. to magical hinterland with its ancient rainforest walks and quaint old mountain villages with all manner of arts & crafts. 1 hour drive from Brisbane. There is every conceivable interest and activity within minutes of our home, and every tourist attraction you have ever heard of (and many you havn't dreamt of!!) The famous Surfers Paradise is only 10 mins. away. Our house is in a quiet street, approx. 30 years old. Recently re-decorated in a country cottage style, it oozes warmth and character. 3 bedrooms, a sunroom at front of house overlooking private courtyard shaded by palms and sails with cooling water fountain. Combined lounge/dining,small kitchen,small bathroom, study with computer and a rumpus room which is set up as a hobbyroom for Bob. A tropical back garden completes the picture. We have a 4 year old Toyota Hi-lux twin cab ute with canopy (needed to carry Bobs radio-controlled planes), which is housed in remote control garage. Both house and car have air-conditioning and security systems.We are both retired, Bob has just had his 60th birthday and I am a little behind him!! We are particularly interested in exchanging in England or Wales, anywhere we can fairly easily drive to Cornwall, Devon and the southern counties. Also Canada. Would consider anywhere else. Need 4-6 weeks I would think to justify the distance and expense, but open to any offers We would also be open to exchanges within Australia for shorter breaks-particularly Cairns area, Adelaide, as well as New Zealand. We are both non smokers, and very conscientious,we would take great care of both property and contents.We have arranged an exchange to Bristol and will be stopping in Frankfurt on the way back home. We leave on the 19th August and return on the 6th October2004.Would love to 2 arrange a 4 week stay in Canada in 2005. Particularly somewhere where we can get to Banff & Victoria Island, which we are told are incredibly beautiful. We don't know a lot about the area so are open to suggestions.
