	We offer our home in sunny, suburban, sub-tropical Brisbane the State Capital of Queensland. We are situated at The Gap, a leafy suburb which is 10 km. from the heart of the city. Bus transport is a five minute walk. We enjoy a quiet suburban setting ajacent to bushland, alive with birds and the occasional wallaby. Our home is well maintaned and has three bedrooms (one airconditioned), two bathrooms (one upstairs/one downstairs). The kitchen has a dishwasher and all mod cons. We have separate dining and lounge rooms and cable TV. Downstairs has two lock-up garages, and a covered barbecue area adjoining an airconditioned family room. Our home offers tranquil views to nearby wooded hills. Brisbane has been voted "Australia's most liveable City" with heaps of things to do and see. The unique Southbank parkland, for one, is extremely popular with visitors and locals alike. Nearby Moreton Bay with its sandy islands are a delight. Surfing beaches are about an hour away from home with the tourist - orentated Gold Coast and the quieter Sunshine Coast beaches offering diverse pleasures. Glenda and Grahame are late fifties to early sixties and non-smokers. We have experienced hosted, simultaneous and non-simultaneous exchanges in the past and have enjoyed them all immensly. We are currently planning a six month vacation to North America in 2004. We plan to start our journey by car in Los Angeles and travel west to east across Canada with LA as our departure point to home. We are presently looking for exchanges in central and eastern Canada. We are open to offers for future exchanges in any part of the world. A late model sedan may be included in exchanges.
