Beautiful, clean southwest city, with many attractions. Univ of NM, Sandia Indian casino, Petroglyph monuments, Native American museum, libraries, downtown sidewalk cafes, etc. Special adventure is aerial tram to top of Sandia Mountains at 10,378 feet with magnificent view of whole city. Or, drive up our side of the mountain for same view, restaurant, gift shop. Great hiking trails atop mountain.
Our home is 45 miles from Santa Fe, along the Turquoise Trail (Highway 14), with stops in old Madrid and other western towns along the way.
