Although we have travelled extensively, we have never 'exchanged'... we are ready to try it out! We are recent retirees in our early 60's (retired engineer and HR Director)Our passion is golf, gardening, grandkids, and travel. (We also have a 2bdrm. condo in Ajijic, Mexico that may also be available for an exchange.) Our 4 bedroom, 2 storey house is situated on a wooded 5 acre lot, near the small village of Cayuga. We are 1/2hr. to Hamilton, 1-2 hrs to Toronto, 1-2 hrs to St. Catharines and the Niagara Falls tourist areas.
The house: 3 bedrooms/bathroom/jacuzzi upstairs, large master bedroom with ensuite on main level. Many antiques throughout. Large well equipped kitchen with new appliances. Kitchen and family room(with fireplace)overlook a groomed pond and beautiful gardens off the extensive deck. We also have 4 cats - each with their own distinctive personality!(they can be 'relocated' if you cannot care for them!) We are strict non-smokers and will insist that our guests be non-smokers as well. We have already booked flights to New Zealand and Australia, Jan. to April,2006 and would like to exchange with anyone there within this time if possible, (in the Melbourne/Adelaide/Christchurch areas) Our house in rural Cayuga will also be available for exchange or otherwise Nov. to Dec. 15, 2005.At this time, we have no other travel plans and are open to suggestions regarding exchanges with like-minded retirees in England and central Europe for fall, 2006.
