We have a newly renovated 1 ½ bedroom home 800 metres from Okanagan Lake(80 miles long). We have one bedroom with queen size bed and double futon in our computer room. Laundry facilities are available and our home is located close to all amenities in Vernon, B.C. Our home includes all appliances as well as satellite TV and high speed internet. Patio area with shared barbeque.
The Okanagan is a tourist paradise with wineries, 4 golf courses, skiing (Silver Star or Big White). fishing, casino, parks, beaches, orchards, vineyards, lakes and beautiful scenery. Lots of shopping and other large cities in close proximity (Kelowna and Kamloops). City Bus route with bus stop in front of house. Websites to check out are www.vernontourism.com and www.vernon.com . International airport is only ½ hour drive. We can arrange for someone to pick you up at the airport if needed. It is only 5 hours drive to Vancouver, Banff or Spokane, Washington. Vehicle exchange would be appreciated, but not necessary. No smoking or pets. We are semi-retired and are flexible with location, dates and timeframe.
