Upstairs, which is about 150 sq metres (1600 sq ft), we have three bedrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom complete with a shower and jacuzzi tub. In addition, there is a living room, dining room, kitchen, kitchen eating area, a family/tv room and a small office/computer room. Accessible from the kitchen we also have a hot tub on the large deck over the double car garage.

We have the usual clothes washer and dryer, dishwasher, cable tv, video/dvd and high speed internet.

The home is situated 20 minutes from downtown Victoria, which is a beautiful, year round green and temperate part of Canada. We are 15 minutes from the Gulf Island Ferry system connecting Victoria and Vancouver as well as the several beautiful Gulf Islands. The travel time to Vancouver by ferry is about 2 hours and less than 30 minutes by air. The international airport is also 15 minutes away. Sydney is 15 minutes distant, the ocean is 5 minutes and shopping is 5 minutes away.

The Victoria area is comprised of several communities totalling about 350,000 people so major shopping and tourist attractions are abundant. There are also many other Vancouver Island cities and towns with visitors attractions that are all within a short driving distances. The entire region is famous for its year round flowers, gardens and golf.

Although we are "seniors" we both continue to work and prefer to travel in the off seasons of May and September. In 2006, we would like a 2 to 3 week exchange in France, UK, Spain, Portugal, or Italy but are open to all other suggestions.

We have a small (2002 Mini Cooper S) car for exchange consideration.
