It is warm here during the summer, but it's a dry heat. The remainder of the year is moderate. The Strip is always popular with it's endless activities, entertainment, shopping, fine restaurants, and of course, gambling. We are in a quiet neighborhood in the South East quadrant of town about 6 miles from the Strip and the same distance from the airport.

Car exchange possible. My wife and I are flexible on travel times. I'm 59 (retired); she's 46 (semi-retired). We are open to many areas for exchanges. We are ballroom/latin dancers and always like to find places to dance. We have done 6 successful exchanges from a previous home as well as here.

We are non-smokers and prefer same. We have a super friendly lesser sulphur cockatoo (smaller sized cockatoo) that could stay with you animal lovers (he loves strangers and wants to be near) or go to a "birdie hotel" here in town while you're here. There is also a Mojave Desert tortoise living in the backyard. He's very independent, but needs to have his water dish "freshened" every other day or so. We are happy to take care of pets during an exchange (we have had cats, dogs, horses, goats etc. in our respective pasts) as long as they might be OK if we're away from your home overnight.
