We are reaching out on a limb and would like to invite you to view this "SHE" listing and perhaps consider a exchange. The Canadian home includes 2 adult bikes, 2 SUP boards, float toys, beach gear, and there’s even a few cork screws. :-)

Now get that idea of Canada being all "snow and ice" out of your head, as we have very comfortable tempetures for June, averaging 75-88 and sometimes higher.

Our area has been voted the 2nd best wine region to visit! The Canadian home is in a quiet gated community where sightings of deer, coyotes, (and some days bears) are a sure thing for June.

If laying by the pool is more your idea of fun then checkout our place in Arizona. It is located within a luxury gated community with all the trimmings and has a great view of the clubhouse & pool. ( listing #7502)

About us, (Chimene and Ian) We are retired non smokers, we have no pets or any bad habits. We are quiet and considerate guests who also don’t mind looking after your pets. Our days are spent by going to the gym, or for a couple of walks, and or bicycling then we check in with our kids online, head out for lunch or make it at home, take in a few sights, shopping etc, return home and have dinner and watch a movie or play a few games of dominoes. Pretty boring but that’s us in a nutshell :-) lol (If we are caring for your dog the odds are pretty good that he/she will be a bit smarter than prior to the exchange, I have trained a number of dogs in my time and love it!

Home is very elegant with 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, office with internet. Lounge room, Dining room, Family Room leading to large outdoor deck, BBQ, inground pool.

We are Steve and Connie, a para educator and retired elementary teacher, in our mid-60's. We are non-smokers and have no pets.

My home - a 1750 sq ft 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom bungalow - has a great room, A/C, gas fireplace, sunken living room with a home theatre system set up for watching HD TV or DVDs on a 92" screen. Read or watch TV while relaxing in a deluxe massage chair. House includes wireless internet access. We have lots of photos available on request.

My backyard is separated from adjacent homes by a waterstream, including a waterfall joining 2 large ponds, each with lily pads. In summer, baby ducks and quail 'portage' from the lower pond across the lawn to the upper pond. The grounds are professionally maintained. On the patio are a BBQ, 4 padded swivel patio chairs, and table and chairs for outdoor eating/entertaining. Enjoy an outdoor BBQ or just relax watching the stars. No bugs or high humidity issues. It's dry here.

We live in West Kelowna (also referred to as Westbank), population 40,000, centrally located in the beautiful Okanagan region, and immediately adjacent to our neighboring community of Kelowna (population 125,000) across a large 90 mile long lake (Lake Okanagan). With our temperate climate - mild winters and summer days averaging 80F - we are known as one of Canada's most desirable resort/retirement areas. Within a short drive are 3 major ski hills, many golf courses, and >200 wineries. Major wine festivals are held in the Spring(early May) and Fall (early October). Vancouver is a 4 hour drive to the west; Banff and the Rocky Mountains are 5-6 hours to the east.

Because we each own a home in the complex, exchanges need not be simultaneous. Come in the summertime, or whatever time of year suits your needs. We prefer to travel in the spring, fall and winter. We are very clean and responsible homeowners and will treat your home as we do our own.

We are looking for 3-6 week exchanges (simultaneous or nonsimultaneous). Places we especially want to do exchanges include: Florida, Southern California, Arizona, Hawaii, New England States, Las Vegas or any 'waterfront' location.

For shorter exchanges anytime (~1 week or less), we especially enjoy visiting seaside communities along the British Columbia, Washington and Oregon Coasts.

Generally, we prefer smaller rural towns over the hustle and bustle of big cities, but we are open to all possibilities.

Closest bigger city is Victoria which is approx one hour drive south. Mt. Washington ski hill(open Dec - April for skiing and in summer open for mountain biking and hiking)is two hours drive north. Vancouver Island is very popular for outdoor activities.

We are Diana and Alan Asbridge - Diana is Canadian and Alan is British - now both retired and living in the interesting town of Glastonbury on the slopes of Glastonbury Tor situated in the beautiful west of England county of Somerset. Located between the counties of Devon, Dorset and Wiltshire we are just across the Bristol Channel from Wales.

Glastonbury is 2 hours+ by road from London’s Heathrow & Gatwick airports and one hour from the cities of Bristol [with its own international airport and rail station to London] plus the Roman spa town of Bath. England's smallest city of Wells and its 12th century cathedral is also only 5 miles away. Cornwall’s sandy beaches are within easy driving range and the Heritage sites of Stonehenge and Avebury are within an hour's drive. With its population of nearly 10,000, Glastonbury has a long heritage and, today, this lively town has a unique flavour and character. It has a specialised retail sector and a big visitor trade attracting tourists and pilgrims from all over the world. Historically, it was the site of a medieval abbey, significant because of traditions telling that Jesus and Joseph of Arimathaea came here and that King Arthur and Guinevere were buried here. From our house, the uninterrupted view to the north-west stretches 25 miles to the Bristol Channel across the Somerset Levels and south-west to Devon’s Dunkery Beacon on top of Exmoor.

Our front door opens into a small hallway with immediate access to a small ground floor washroom/WC which also houses the washing machine. The hall leads to the lounge/dining room [with long range views over the Somerset Levels] and to the kitchen and small conservatory with access to the rear garden. A staircase leads to the upper floor with its three bedrooms [1 double and 2 singles]; a full bathroom with WC, hand basin, bath and shower. There are balconies off the 2 main bedrooms with views of the Somerset Levels - the second bedroom also doubles as a computer room. In addition, there is a separate guest bedroom with single bed and a similar spectacular view. The front & back gardens have small areas of lawn with roses and small trees. The house is heated by gas [inc. hot water] and the kitchen has an electric oven and gas hob & grill, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and freezer. We have high-speed internet with broadband and FREEVIEW TV via BT Vison (which includes all BBC and ITV programmes plus a range of 60 other digital TV channels. We have 2 TVs [lounge and main bedroom], a DVD/CD player, a combined printer/scanner/copier. Outside, is a charcoal barbecue. It is only a 5 minute drive to the nearest shops including 2 major supermarkets, pharmacy, post office and a number of pubs and small restaurants.

We are non-smokers and prefer to exchange with similar or those that will only smoke outside the house. We would also wish to exchange cars - ours is a 2012 Peugeot 308SW.

Pauanui is a lovely coastal resort with a beautiful beach and harbour. We have three golf courses and a range of local and seacoast activities. There are lots of local walks and great tramping/hiking in the Coromandel Forest Park. Our home is open plan with two bedrooms and bathrooms and an office. We have the usual TV and internet. We have good indoor/outdoor flow and a 1bedroomed, ‘sleepout’ with bathroom, for extra visitors.

Auckland (2 hrs) has all the facilities of a large city and is great for tourists. Our local town, Thames (35mins), has an interesting heritage from gold mining to logging. The peninsular is very popular for tourists.

We have a car for exchange. We have no pets and are non-smokers. Simultaneous exchange or non is ok. We prefer a short term exchange. Our home is available during our spring/summer, Oct-March.

The house has all modern conveniences central air, cable tv. and high speed internet.New hardwood floors. It is very well kept and has a lawn and garden service.

It has 2 bedrooms the master bed room is on the first floor with king size bed and full bath. A second full bath also on the first floor. Their is a second bedroom upstairs in the loft with a half bath. It has a sitting area with tv.

We have a computor room on the first floor.

Their Is a washer and dryer separate off the kitchen.

A car exchange is available. We have Subaru outback.

Pittsburgh is a lovely city bordered by 3 rivers and lovely hills. It has 3 major sport teams (football baseball and hockey) and beautiful stadiums. It also has many theatres and a great zoo and a famous museum. We are close to the bike trails. Go to www.pittsburgh.net for more on Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh has a wonderful history associated with it and is located 1 hr drive to West Virginia, 1 hr drive to Ohio 5 hr drive to Washington DC 5 hr drive to Baltimore MD a 5 hr drive to Niagra Falls New York and 5 hr drive to Philadelphia PA. Our home is on a golf course and is just a short walk to the ocean. It has a well-equipped kitchen, living room, dining area, three bedrooms, two baths, and two patios that is great for outdoor dining and relaxing. It is an attractive single family home in a pleasant, suburban, neighborhood. Two of the bedrooms are now used as offices, so an exchange is best with a couple.

The uppermost level contains all bedrooms; master and spare bedroom have queen- size beds; third bedroom serves as an office, and has a single bed.

We have two attached decks (upper and lower) in the backyard, which has numerous birch trees, a strawberry garden and a raspberry patch. Our two-car heated garage has a 2005 Subaru Outback wagon and a 2002 Mazda pickup w/bike rack, and two 21-speed mountain bikes available for use.

Our quiet subdivision is just minutes from everything Anchorage and the surrounding area has to offer. The nearest grocery store (Safeway) is just 1/2- mile away, and we're two miles from Anchorage's largest shopping mall.

There are virtually hundreds of miles of biking/x-country ski trails throughout Anchorage and in the Chugach Mts. just east of town. Alyeska Ski Resort is only 40 miles south.

Veterans can enjoy full use of the joint Army-Air Force base only minutes away from us, on the north side of town.

During the summer Anchorage is a "city of flowers". In late August the Alaska State Fair, with it's exhibit of giant vegetables, is in Palmer, AK in the heart of the Matanuska Valley.

South central Alaska abounds in incredible scenery and wildlife. Cook Inlet, Prince William Sound and the Kenai Fjords Nat'l Park on the Kenai Peninsula offer opportunities to view whales, glaciers and more. Four hours north of Anchorage is Denali, the highest peak in North America, and easily visible from town.

In addition to summer and early fall, winter can be ideal times to visit Alaska. The days become shorter as winter approaches, but the long twilights bring out the alpenglow on the mountains. The northern lights can be awesome, and the cool, crisp air is invigorating. Some of the best silver salmon fishing takes place in September and October when the crowds are gone.

During the winter Anchorage becomes a "city of lights". In February, the "Fur Rendezvous" is a week-long festival that ends the first weekend in March with the start of the Iditarod dogsled race to Nome. In March Alyeska holds its Spring Carnival.
