Our Victoria home is private, convenient, and comfortable. It has a large garden and outstanding sea (Haro Strait) and island (San Juan) views. The ever changing colours of the sea and sky will light up your spirits. Also, if you enjoy watching marine and passing ships our place is for you.The main area of our home is 3000sq ft.;it is on one level with convenient access from all entrances.
It is tastefully decorated with antique and craft modern furniture. You can relax in the one-acre gardens or on the large deck which has a hot tub off the master suite.
Home informaion: It has 2 bedrooms (King and Queen beds),3 bathrooms, 2 fireplaces, den, large deck with BBQ comfortable patio furniture and separate studio.
2 TVs', wireless internet and cable.
Also, the living room, dinning room master suite, studio and hot tub all have sea and island views
It has convenient access to:
*the University of Victoria (10min walk);
*20 min by car or bus to the city center;
*30min to Ferries and Airport which will take you to VancouverGulf and San Juan Islands, Up Island and Seattle.
There are many great walking and biking trails, beaches, golf courses, and water sports close to our home.
Don and I are retired professionals in our late 60’s and we love to golf, travel and garden. We are nonsmokers.
We have a suite in the lower level of the house which is rented to a wonderful, very quiet tenant.
Exchange can include a car and Housekeeper
Our travel interest includes: Eastern Canada/USA, Southern California,Tucson, Mexico, Western Europe, Britain, and Hawaii dates open are open as we have two homes. We usually spend July and August at our cottage so exchange dates are flexible or us.We are looking forward to hearing from you. Pictures of home and area on request.
