I am a single lady who came to the beach to retire. I built this large, comfortable home in 1998 to entertain my family. The house is on Eastern Lake, situated on the Gulf of Mexico between Panama City Beach and Destin. Eastern Lake is a rare coastal dune lake [only found here and in Australia], which opens and closes to the Gulf of Mexico. You have the options of kayaking or walking to the beach. I have a dock, all the fishing gear if you like, and a kayak. My home is stucco, with stone floors. All amenities, including 3 BR(1 KS, 2 QS), 2.5 BA, plus a bonus room with a single bed and a double bed in loft (comfortably sleeps 8). Well supplied kitchen, cable TV in LR and 2 of the BR plus a piano; I have a double water-filtering system that gives superior quality water. My home is very private. It is only a short walk to the beach, and all the parks, shopping and sights in Seaside and Rosemary Beach are easily accessible by bike. The bike path is at the top of my street. There are at least two excellent restaurants within walking distance, and many 5-star restaurants in the area. Some 51 golf courses, too! My home is situated just off Scenic Highway 30A, where you will find the world-famous resorts of Seaside, Watercolor, and Rosemary Beach--with all their concerts and activities, which are a delight for the public. You can certainly bike to these events, but if it would work, I could probably leave my car for you. Non-smokers, please. |
