We have an attractive and comfortable older bungalow with loads of cozy character, 2 bedrooms, two bathrooms and a den. There is a gas fire in the bright living room, wireless, cable TV and all of the appliances and ammenities that you would expect. Parksville is a small, pretty town on the mid east coast of Vancouver Island. We are within walking distance of a grand selection of restaurants and coffee houses. Shops, bank and Post Office are a ten minute walk. Victoria, Long Beach and Campbell River are an easy day trip.(return).

Parksville beach is a short walk and our local Rathtrevor Beach is a five minute car drive (20 min walk). The beaches are sandy and very popular. The local walks are fantastic and we are very central for doing a grand tour of the island which boasts wonderful scenery and hiking.

We are about an hour and 15 mins from Mt Washington, an alpine village with great ski-ing and we have an abundance of very good golf courses

The quaint village of Qualicum is about a ten minute drive north with a beautiful waterfront and Nanaimo is 15 - 20 minutes south with large shopping malls, cinemas etc.

The ferry runs regularily from Nanaimo to Vancouver (1 1/2 hours)

We can exchange our 1 year old Mazda3.

We are non-smokers and have no pets but it would be our pleasure to water and look after your garden if needed

We have exchanged twice, once in Nova Scotia and have just returned from a wonderful vacation in Adelaide, Australia. The exchange on both sides was a big 10/10.

We would love to visit Perth, Western Australia (we lived there 46 years ago) for February and March 2011 but are open to exchange just about anywhere on the planet.
