Area full of rich history, antiques, museums, aquariums, children's rides, golf for children, water sides, 6 Golf Courses for adults, Fort Macon, Cape Lookout Lighthouse, and beach area. You can charter boat for deep sea fishing, go scuba diving, have dinner on the "mystic queen" paddle boat, take a boat to Cape Lookout, visit the wild horses on Carrot Island, the villages of Beaufort and Swansboro are full of history and excellent day trips. You can even go to Oracoke and Cape Hatteras both are lighthouse areas.

The home consists of 4 bedrooms, 3 bath, very large family room, kitchen, dining room. Home is around 2000sq ft. Home is on sound with boat docking. It is a lovely home and we certainly enjoy it. It can be made available anytime of the year. The best months are April-October. The weather is normally very nice. We can furnish jpeg photos on request. Non smokers please or if you smoke always smoke outside.

Internet Access and Cable TV is available.

Our grandchildren love to swim in the canal and ocean. You can take trips to Cape Lookout, Fort Macon and the inlet are about 3 miles from house. You can scubba, ski, dinner cruises, museums, aquariums, fish in the gulf (day charters), fish from the piers, watersides for the kids, golf. Many things to do. House consists of a Master Bedroom, King Size bed, with Master Bath, 2 queen bedrooms, 1 bedroom we call the dorm because the grandchildren stay in it. It has 3 single beds with a trundle and a private bath. The living room has 4 chairs and 3 sofas. There is porch furniture. You can layout on porch or the upper deck. There are baths in the hallway, Master bedroom and the 'dorm' bedroom. Washer, Dryer, Dishwasher, heating and air, ceiling fans in bedrooms and living room, 2 refrigerators (One inside and one in storage building that we use for drinks and fishing). There are instructions in the guest book as to what needs to be done when arriving and when leaving. Also, please sign our guestbook. You would need to bring nothing other than your clothing. We have internet service and cable TV , some beach chairs, linens, etc. If you have a boat to bring, you can dock it at our pier in the back. The grandchildren fish from this pier also.

If you like to fish, the best fishing times are the spring and fall. The types of fish you can catch are: King Mackrerel, Spanish Mackerel, Trout, Spots, Mullet, Flounder, Sea Bass, Blues, Marlin, Mahi Mahi, and many more. In the sound you will mainly catch: Spots, Flounder, Mullet, Sea Bass, Croaker, Trout and many more.
