Hi from Beautiful Vancouver Island! We have a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment located on the oldest golf course in Victoria. We are located on the top floor (4th Floor) with wonderful views of the Course. The apartment is on the 5th hole, and you have views of three greens, and 4 fairways. (This exchange could be combined with our Edmonton listing (#3328), and either or both residences can be combined on one exchange if so desired.) The apartment also has beautiful views of the Gorge, very quiet, and is located about 10 minutes from downtown Victoria and the Inner Harbour. It is a very modern and beautifully furnished apartment. It is also very safe with underground gated secure parking. There are lots of walking trails with Kinsmen Park just across the street along the Gorge Waterway. We are about 20 minutes from Butchart Gardens, one of the most beautiful gardens in Canada. There are Ferry's to Seattle, Washington daily for the day or for a couple of days of sight-seeing. Victoria is the Garden City of Canada. One can drive up Island to many cities and towns up Island, where one can deep sea fish if that is your pleasure or just stop at a beach and picnic. As well you are only a Ferry ride to the third largest city in Canada, Vancouver! There are lots of resorts and accommodations that one can choose should you want to include a short get-a-way from our Apartment in Victoria. There is much to share about Victoria, our home there and of course Edmonton, just a short trip across the Rockies. Many of our previous exchangers have made both cities a part of their exchange experience and have taken advantage of the beautiful drive through the Rockies. We would love to talk to you. Pictures upon request of either or both places. We are non smokers and have no pets. We are looking to exchange to the the U.K., Europe, or anything interesting! If you want to travel to Canada in 2011 or beyond, we would be interested. (We have agreed to an exchange to the U.K in the fall of 2010. Our exchange guests for this Fall, 2010, are taking advantage of both properties and of course the Rockies inbetween.) For 2011 and beyond, we are open as to exchanges and flexible as to dates and time of year but would prefer spring or fall and a length of stay around a month plus or minus.
