Boise, the capital of Idaho, has been listed in several national magazines as a "top ten most-desirable" places to live and retire. It is a safe, culturally-rich community. The local population (100,000) is friendly and courteous. Boise is a four-season community with an abundance of outdoor activities. Boise State University provides year-round educational, cultural and athletic activities.

Our home is comfortable - with room for guests. We have two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a convenient kitchen, living & dining rooms, an outdoor patio with a large backyard, a TV/computer entertainment room and a garage. We have cable TV, WIFI and no pets. Nearby is a outdoor swimming pool - open to the public during the summer. Within walking distance is a small grocery store and a nice breakfast-lunch cafe.

The Boise River greenbelt, a 22-mile paved biking & walking trail is nearby. It is ten-minutes to downtown where one can enjoy art & historical museums, a large library, theaters, cafes, restaurants & churches. Shopping is available downtown and at a large shopping mall. There are 12 golf courses in the area and a ski resort is a 45-minute drive.

The Boise airport is 12 minutes away. Boise is considered a 'hub' for major western and national locations.

We have a 2000 Toyota Avalon and are willing to exchange cars. Las Vegas, Sun Valley, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, the Oregon coast and Salt Lake City are within a day's drive.

We enjoy day trips, boating, wine-tasting, a good bakery, open-air markets, unique food and interacting with neighbors.

We are seeking a clean, comfortable and safe environment - similar to what we have to offer. We are non-smokers. We enjoy pets but do not wish to be responsible for pet care.
