The major city of Auckland is 2½ hours drive away. The beautiful Coromandel Peninsular is approximately 1½ hours drive away and Rotorua, the Maori cultural centre is just 50 minutes drive away. Tauranga airport is just 4km drive.
For the keen golfer, there are three superb (and inexpensive) 18 hole courses plus the 9 hole public course which is just 3 minutes walk from our home.
This is our initial venture into house exchange and we are booked to go to the UK and Europe for around 3 months (April, May June) in 2011. We would consider those who are looking to visit our lovely country for one, two or three months bearing in mind that visitors will probably want to holiday in the South Island as well. For those who might be thinking of going to Australia, why not try a month in NZ. We have it all: hunting, shooting, fishing, skiing, surfing, tramping etc etc AND, the All Blacks!! We would also be happy to include a car exchange.
