Bend is a recreational paradise with: world class skiing & snowboarding, snowmobiling, hiking, climbing, boating, cycling, whitewater rafting, river floating, water skiing, over 20 golf courses, mountain biking, trail running, etc. There are also great cultural activities such as: theater, concerts, art walks, galleries galore, farmer’s markets, 7 breweries, free outdoor music concerts, seasonal cultural festivals, and more!

Bend has a great, sunny, year-round climate with one of the longest ski seasons in the US, and only lighter amounts of snow in town (sometimes enough to cross country ski!). Summers are clear and hot during the day while nice and cool at night. The shoulder seasons are usually pleasantly warm.
